Faridpur has land borders with Rajbari, Gopalganj, Madaripur and Shariatpur districts, as well as riverine borders with Dhaka, Manikganj and Munshiganj districts in the Padma River, which forms northeastern boundary. Faridpur shares its borders with Rajbari and Manikganj in the North, with Gopalganj in the South, with Magura and Narail in the West and with Madaripur and Munshiganj in the East.
