1 District Sports Office: Organized by the Directorate of Sports, Bangladesh, grassroots sports are held every year under the annual sports program under the management of the District Sports Officer.
Topics: a) Competition-Volleyball, Athletics, Swimming and Chess

Organizing 4 trainings and 4 competitions on 6 games.		 District Sports Office, Faridpur.
Faridpur district 6 upazilas were reached by road for the implementation of the annual sports program.		 From September to May
2 School level: Winter and summer sports competitions in schools and madrasas.
Subjects: Summer Football, Swimming, Handball and Kabaddi
Winter-Athletics, Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton
Competitions are held at Upazila and District level.		 District Education Office, Faridpur.
Every upazila organizes sports at school level.		 From July to August and from January to February
3 District Sports Organization: The district sports body adopts sports arrangements for participation at the district level and at the national level. Sports - Other sports including football, hockey, cricket, handball, chess, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball and athletics.
Competition and training are implemented under the direction of different federations.		 District Sports Association, Faridpur.
Implements the sports activities of the district sports body in the district headquarters.		 The year-long program is implemented.
4 Entertainment: Boating, stick games and organizing fairs. Depending on the overall management of the administration and various organizations.
Places and subjects of recreation:
1) Boating (Bhanga, Sadarpur, Nagarkanda)
2) Lathi khela (circulation in char areas) Charbhadrasan, Sadarpur, Nagarkanda, and Faridpur Sadar Upazila is widely practiced in some parts.
Place and time of fairs: Jasim Mela and Jasim Museum is a center of entertainment in the district headquarters. Every year from 1st to 15th of January.
Every year in the month of Baishakh, a gathering of thousands of people from home and abroad is held at Jagatbandhu Angina premises. In this, people of all faiths get the opportunity to have fairs and entertainment.
Every year a boat race is organized in the upazila on the occasion of Bishwakarma Puja.
There is one secluded picnic spot / park in Madhukhali upazila under the district council.		 Number of playgrounds and gymnasiums in Faridpur district:
a) There are 6 playgrounds (school level) in Faridpur Sadar
b) 1 stadium
c) 1 gymnasium
d) 11 playgrounds at upazila level.
Hockey is very popular in Faridpur district. He won the national hockey competition in 2006 and became the champion in 2006. The district sports office and the district sports body arrange training and competitions separately.
