From the time being, it has been the tradition of the Deputy Commissioners to work closely with mass people for the welfare of the community. For creating a dynamic and public oriented modern Public Administration, a meeting called “People’s Meeting” is being held at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner where the Deputy Commissioner discusses the problems and prospects of the citizens, with the mass people. Though the DC meets everyone during workdays, this special meeting is arranged every Wednesday where the problems, complaints, pledges and petitions of the general people are taken into account and immediate actions are taken for disposing those and thus serving people. Other than this, the problems, complaints, pledges and petitions of the general people are disposed through telephone, or in written format or through direct communication with different organizations. The decisions of this meeting are sent to the concerned officers in written format for implementation.
